Yarin's POV:
A few calm days passed, during which we gradually became familiar with Charlies Family and occasionally met people from the front house. Most of them were officials or merchants who, for their reputation, couldn't get too close to us. Otherwise, there would inevitably be gossip about flattery and pleasing.
Eden was no longer as timid as he was at the beginning; at least now, he no longer avoided us. This relieved us as we were staying in someone else's house, and making the host's relatives feel suffocated wouldn't be right!
Today was Cynthia's day for classes, so she woke up earlier than usual because the family tutor began teaching at seven o'clock. There was no sign of her at the breakfast table; she was in her room, struggling to survive in the sea of knowledge with her math book.
This made me nostalgic for school, even though I wasn't a good student who liked studying.
"So, what's Sivir Academy like?" I asked Eden.
