Yarin's POV:
When I asked Spil if he knew anything about the old tower, he gave a definite answer.
"In fact, that woman is no longer a threat at all," he said. "She is completely dead inside, and her soul is trapped in a foolish body. She can't experience rebirth unless she dies."
"What happened yesterday afternoon, then?"
Faced with my question, he fell silent again.
We stood in silence for a while, and in the end, I was the one who gave in, muttering, "Fine, you are the person who keeps secrets."
"The Queen will tell you," Spil suddenly said with conviction, but other than making me curious, it didn't help much because he refused to answer any more of my questions.
Sigh, this introverted guy! He was done if he remained like this in front of Aunt Carolyn!
But as Spil said, my mom called me over and told me what happened last night.
