Yarin's POV:
In the disbelieving gaze of Spil, the glowing sphere slowly floated out of my chest, its radiance increasing, like a gentle moon at midnight.
"You must also be reluctant to leave. Departing is never an easy thing..." I said as I held the sphere and gently waved it, allowing it to fly into the air.
"Do you already know what you want to do with it?" Seeing that he couldn't stop me, Spil lay down.
"Yes, please rest assured, I will not misuse it."
"Sigh, you are reckless, foolish, brave, and resolute," the giant black wolf said. "I used to think I was mature, but it seems a child has educated me."
"I don't think I offended you," I muttered in confusion and asked, "Don't you want to know what I am going to do?"
"It's something I can't stop, and it probably won't be a bad thing," he said. "If the goddess believes in you, then I guess I should too."
