Yarin's POV:
Unknowingly, I was stunned.
"Yarin? Yarin?" Lily waved her hand in front of me in confusion.
I suddenly came back to my senses and coughed uncomfortably. I lowered my head and whispered, "Sorry, I was distracted. I… I didn't sleep well last night."
Lily looked understanding and said indifferently, "It was nothing. It was indeed a tiring night. I was wondering why you were so quiet today. It turns out that you're tired. Go back and have a good rest. You're leaving tomorrow. Take advantage of today to recuperate."
I shook my head and realized that this might be my last chance, so I made up my mind and said, "It's okay. I'm not sleepy. I want to stay with you for a while longer. Lily, I have something to tell you..."
"Go back and rest, Yarin," Lily gently interrupted me. She looked straight into my eyes, so sincere and clear, as if she could easily see through the deepest secret I hid in my heart, making me panic.
