Yarin's POV:
I couldn't assume Azazel was patient just because of his 'tolerance'. This demon was highly arbitrary and didn't like people disobeying his orders. For example, Linda didn't want to leave just like that. Azazel might be smiling on the surface, but he was on the verge of losing his patience.
Linda knew nothing about this. She behaved like a little girl and acted coquettishly with her 'father', unwilling to leave no matter what.
She treated my mother as an imaginary enemy, an irreconcilable enemy. She would never retreat from the enemy and give up her 'father' to someone else.
But Azazel was starting to get impatient, so he pulled a long face and said coldly, "I thought you would respect me like a father, my child, but you have disappointed me. The magic of time is indeed great. It has changed you. You say you love me, but in your heart, you don't care about me and treat me as an old man."
