Lily's POV:
My mother looked a little tired. Alfred subconsciously waited for her. I didn't want to see her, so I entered the house first.
However, my mother quickly stopped me. She didn't take care of her precious son immediately. Instead, she showed some unusual concern for me. She intimately held my arm and led me to the dining room.
"Lily, my poor daughter, you must have been frightened today. It was the Silver Moon Pack's negligence to let the criminals in. I apologize. I'm sorry I couldn't pick you up immediately. I really couldn't leave. Someone had to host the ending, and I was the only one left then. You must be hungry. The kitchen has prepared a feast to celebrate the Moonlight Festival, just in time to calm you down."
