She sat on the edge of the bed and helped Zeryon in getting up.
"I'll clean your wounds first," she said.
She took a cotton swab and soaked it in alcohol. She carefully cleaned Zeryon's head wound.
"How could such a blade have injured you like this?" Gina asked. "It just like the wounds have been burned."
"I'm not sure what blade that was, but it appears to be similar to the Iron Rod in that it was made from rare materials rather than common ones, and it had a lethal impact on demons." Zeryon his own conclusions.
"Madrox did not stab the blade into your body; it did not appear that he intended to kill you; perhaps he was unaware that the blade still had such a bad impact," Vargas stated.
It could be true that Madrox did not intend to kill Zeryon. But still he had hurt their friendship. He had dared to betray his best friend. Zeryon was disappointed by this. He wouldn't be sad if he was hit by the demon guards.
