Gina's chest shook when she heard gunshots. She laid down on the floor and covered her ears with her hands. Her eyeballs followed Zeryon who teleported to avoid the shots.
More shots from Bryn's weapon echoed through the room and Gina's heart raced with fear. She had never been in a situation like this before and all she could think about was getting to safety.
Zeryon was trying his hardest to stop Bryn's tantrum. He pointed the Iron Rod at Bryn, ready to defend himself and the others if necessary. "Bryn, stop this. I don't want to hurt you, but I will if I have to," Zeryon warned, his voice firm and resolute.
Bryn hesitated for a moment, a flicker of recognition in his eyes. But then, the darkness consumed him once again, and he lunged forward, the samurai blade flashing in the light.
Zeryon reacted quickly, deftly blocking the attack with the Iron Rod. The two weapons clashed, sending sparks flying through the air.
