After getting some rest and taking her medication, Gina's body started to feel like it had more energy again. Her mother contacted a doctor, who assured her that there was no cause for alarm and that all she needed to do was get some rest.
She got out of bed and opened the window so that she might breathe in some fresh air.
"Are you awake, Gina? Good morning, how are you doing?" Modesty had just come out of the bathroom drying her wet black hair with a towel.
"Morning, Modesty. I feel better." Gina smiled.
"Are you sure?" Modesty asked. "You just rested last night."
Gina gave a shrug and then stated, "Yeah, I guess the demonic blood in my veins helps me recover faster."
Modesty raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Demonic blood? I've never heard you talk about that before."
