Gina was still too exhausted to really digest everything that had happened today. Zeryon was holding her in his right hand the entire time. She was able to perceive the rise in temperature. She knew that she was no longer in the hiking area.
Modesty's eyes appeared to be widened in shock as they suddenly appeared in the living room of Gina's house. "What the... how did you do that?" she asked, looking around in disbelief.
"I have the ability to teleport," Zeryon explained, gently setting Gina down on the couch. "It's a useful skill to have, especially in situations like this."
Modesty's eyes narrowed as she glared at Zeryon. "Today you really surprised me. I feel like I don't know you anymore."
Zeryon apologized to Modesty in a tone of voice tinged with regret and stated, "I'm sorry. I did not intend for any of this to take place."
