Gina and her family were offered a ride by Zeryon so that they could get back home, but Gina's mother declined the offer.
Since the very beginning, her mother had refused all of Zeryon's gifts. This included the assistance that Zeryon provided to Modesty when she was injured and hospitalized as a result of her accident last year.
After all, the man with the black eyes must show respect for the choice made by Gina's mother.
Gina was seen rolling up the mat and Modesty was cleaning up the trash from their leftover food and drinks.
"Alright, everything is set, let's go home now!" Gina said as she lugged around the picnic supplies.
"Let me help." Zeryon volunteered.
"Do you want me to depend on you in every situation? At the very least, let me handle this insignificant task on my own." Gina declined with good manners.
Zeryon took a deep breath as he caressed the top of Gina's head. "Fine. Do what you like."
