The clear sky was obscured by a thick layer of dark clouds. A tall and stocky creature with crimson horns protruded from the top of his head. He took a firm hold of the woman's neck before moving his face in close proximity to hers.
"Stop, don't do it!" Gina let out a loud scream.
Gina wanted to go up to the tall figure and get closer to it, but it felt as though her feet were sinking into the ground. She was immobilized and unable to move.
"Gina, wake up! You're delirious!"
Gina awoke from her sleep when she heard Emelle's voice. She opened her eyes very slowly and gasped for breath.
"Are you okay?" Emelle sat alongside Gina.
"Yeah, I think." Gina gave a very tiny nudge. She woke up and wondered, "How long have I been asleep for?"
The response that Emelle gave was, "It's been a long."
While she was sleeping, Gina had a disturbing dream. It appeared as though the occurrences of the previous day were still ingrained in her memory.
