Y/n's POV:
"I bet you twenty bucks that Alec's the one at the door," I whispered to Jane. And Jane being the angry ferret she is, turned to me with an eye twitching.
Quickly she straighten- gaying out her clothes before going to answer the door.
I threw myself under the covers just in case I was mistaken and had to hear Jane's rant to the poor soul at the door.
"Jane I could hear you from the throne room so go do the devil's tango somewhere we can't hear you two." Alec sighed prompting me to burrow myself deeper into the covers in embarrassment.
Rolling her eyes Jane smirked, "Think of it as revenge for what Caius and Athenodora did last week." "But I didn't- " before he could finish have cut him off smugly.
"Did you forget about what you and that human did the week before in the flower garden brother~" Jane purred, provoking Alec to slam the door shut and sprint away.
"You owe me twenty bucks"
"I never agreed to this bet" Jane started walking towards the bed"
"But, you hadn't refuse either Amore~" I smirked
"Can't I just give you a kiss instead?" Jane asked sitting next to me.
Putting my finger on her lips I retort " Darling I believe you're mistaken. I can steal your kisses whenever I please. So I'll take the twenty beloved."
Pouting Jane grabbed a twenty from her nightstand and handed it to me. "Pleasure doing business with you" I smiled.
"The pleasure is all mine doll." Jane said kissing my hand.
*Ring Ring*
Her phone rang as Aro's name shown on the screen. Sighing, Jane pulled away and answered the call.
"Yes...of course...I'll be ready by 3...Thank you master...I'll mark ensure it goes well..." hanging up Jane frowned. "Guess you have another mission then." "Indeed, it seems like our 'dance' will have to wait Amore." Jane sighed. pecking my cheek.
"Where will you be going?"
"I'll be heading to Germany with Dimitri and Alec." Jane said readying herself for the mission.
" May I know as to why it needs three top guard members?" I asked slightly worried for her safety.
"Just a couple of rogues trying to rise against us. It should only take two to four days at most kitty." Jane smiled trying to calm my nerves.
You see, Jane has this habit of being able to read me like a picture book. Aka she can read me with ease 99.99% of the time. Sadly, I still have a hard time reading her when she has her mask up.
"Just be careful hun, you better return without a scratch." I warned cupping her face, making her smile lightly. "I'll always return to you, even if I have to kill anyone or everyone In my path." Jane said pulling me close.
" Besides, I have to return before my snack is taken from me again" Jane whispered kissing my cheek before going to apply her make-up.
