Caitlyn eventually collapsed into Aimée's hands, Victor hurriedly called the ambulance and they waited till the ambulance came.
The kids watched in horror as their mother was loaded into the ambulance and she was rushed to the hospital. She was rushed to the emergency unit and the relatives were asked to wait outside the receptionist area.
Aimée sat in a corner with her head bowed, she was weeping softly. Victor stood gravely at another corner, as he was also trying to process what he had heard.
"She wouldn't have told lies or just gotten herself rushed into the emergency unit all in the name prank, this is real," Victor thought and sighed. After 30 minutes of waiting, Caitlyn was resuscitated and taken to a ward. Victor and Aimée were allowed to sit with her. Immediately Caitlyn woke up, Victor began talking to her.
"What is it? Are you okay?" Victor asked.
"Yes, I am. I need to call someone," Caitlyn replied and closed her eyes.
