Detective Glene stood on the balcony of his hotel suite, he stared into the star-filled sky without blinking. He had just ended the call with Caitlyn and guilt ate into him like flesh-eating bacteria. He leaned on the rails and sighed multiple times, he was writing his statements and putting together the evidence he had just found on Harrison Clarke's wife and father when he decided to call Caitlyn. That was how he worked, he put everybody in a file and handed it to the clients.
He went back to his suite and took the half-eaten sandwich he had left there. He walked back to the balcony and continued to munch on his sandwich. He was on the third floor of the hotel he had lodged in.
"Looks like she isn't calling back either," He murmured and stared at his phone. He sighed again and swiped his phone up. He dialed Turner's number instead and waited while holding his breath.
"Hey, love," Turner's smooth voice came into the phone.
