Caitlyn got back to her office while still fuming, she sat on her chair and cursed silently. She was tempted to call Rosemary at that point but managed to calm herself.
"Talking about it on the phone might make me talk angrily, I need to go to her house," Caitlyn thought. Throughout the day, she tried to take her mind off what Rosemary did and tried to focus on treating her patients. She saw Carter in the dining hall and she walked up to him. He was eating with other junior doctors and when he saw Caitlyn approaching, he stood and excused himself. They both walked to an empty table and sat with their food. Carter wasn't with his food flask, he had bought food but Caitlyn was there with her flask.
"Hey."
"Hey."
They sat and began to eat.
"How was your weekend?" Caitlyn finally asked, she watched him while eating. She already knew that he was in Monterey County on Sunday and wanted to see if he would tell her.
