They got on the road, the storm had started and Detective Glene was struggling to see with the wiper doing a vigorous job at getting water away from the windscreen.
"This storm is getting heavier," Sam said, he was worried. They got to a bridge and they found out that cars were turning back.
"What's happening?" Detective Glene asked.
"Probably the bridge is full of water, when the rain gets heavy, the traffic controller usually directs cars away from the bridge till the water subsides. Now that this storm is heavier than usual, the bridge is waterlogged," Sam explained. Detective Glenn remembered the bridge when they were coming, it didn't look like a bridge that could be filled with water.
"Why is the bridge always waterlogged during heavy rain? Can't there be something done about it?" Detective Glene asked as he turned his vehicle. Where they would head to was something he had not thought of.
