They got into Carter's vehicle and he started the car and left the parking lot. After a few minutes of driving, Caitlyn held his hands and looked at him.
"Are you okay?" She asked, his hands were shaking on the wheel.
"Yes," He replied.
The scene where he lost control and almost killed the two bodyguards was still fresh in Caitlyn's mind.
"But your hands are shaking," She said softly, Carter breathed in and out and parked beside the road. He laid his head on the wheel.
"I don't know what took over me, I_I wanted to save you but also wanted to kill those men," He said and began to sob. Caitlyn began to rub his back to soothe him. He raised his head and looked at her, his eyes were watery.
