After dinner, Caitlyn took Sarah into Sheila's room and settled on the bed.
"Thank you and you're such a beautiful woman. Glene never brought you home, in fact, he never brings any of his friends home. I doubt if he has any friends," Sarah said and chuckled and Caitlyn laughed softly.
"Oh, Glene is a tough man. Me being friends with him takes up a lot of my energy," Caitlyn responded and brought more chuckles from the woman.
"Child, that's one way to put it. One last thing, thank you for what you did for my grandchild. I appreciate it," Sarah said while still holding Caitlyn's hands.
"The thanksgiving proper will start after his surgery is successful," Caitlyn said and she nodded. They stayed there for a while before the woman released her hands.
"I should let you go now. Good night," Sarah said and Caitlyn stood.
