That was the first moment Caitlyn saw Detective Glene look shaken since they got to the restaurant. He was visibly upset, the thought of him chasing a dangerous killer down an empty street gave him goosebumps.
"Yes, it's bad," Caitlyn responded and got back to eating her melted ice cream. They both finished eating and knew that they had to continue the conversation, there was nothing to pretend to do anymore whole avoiding the uncomfortable conversation.
"What might be his motive for killing both men? You should know that this isn't mere stalking accusation, this is murder we are talking about," Detective Glene said.
"Yes, I know. I have also thought about and I know how hard it is to believe," Caitlyn said.
"There's someone in this case that you haven't talked about, and that's Jasmine. She has the motive to murder the doctor. Since you said Carter is a nice guy, let's leave him out of it for now," Detective Glene said.
