"Thank you for the advice, Victor. I appreciate it. I think you still have time to mend your relationship with Caitlyn and Aimée. Did Caitlyn regularly check up on you here?" Richard asked.
"Do you need more whiskey?" Victor asked and Richard shook his head to indicate that he didn't more whiskey.
"Well, I need more," Victor responded and stood from his chair. He went to pour more into his glass cup and he sat back.
"Sometimes Caitlyn didn't know I was in here and she would think I haven't returned home from work. Aimée helped me in keeping her away from here. Yeah, she came here once in a while whenever she knew I was in here. She would hit her hands on the door and scream at the top of her voice so I could open the door. But I wouldn't hear her screams because the door is soundproofed. I had to fix a doorbell at the door so she could ring it whenever she came to see me," Victor replied. Richard was glad that the discussion had shifted.
