"Stop, we need to talk," Caitlyn said and Carter immediately stopped kissing her though he wanted to taste her, kiss her, and the deep lust should have been enough not to restrain him, but Carter wasn't a raunchy man. There's still time to savor her lips after all. Caitlyn sighed and sat on a couch.
"I'm sorry about how I talked to you in your office. My head's been all over the place, I was angry, and my words didn't come out well," Carter said and sat on a couch opposite her.
"That's forgivable," Caitlyn said slowly, and Carter nodded. They sat in silence until Caitlyn broke the silence.
"A lot has been happening to me too, and my head is also definitely all over the place," She said and closed her eyes. Caitlyn suddenly felt the urge to reveal her troubles to Carter, she wanted to make Carter glimpse her darkness.
