Carter got to San Francisco and he couldn't go to Caitlyn's house immediately. After they got to his Condo, he parked his vehicle and went straight to Colt's bedroom. He began to ransack the whole room, he found nothing suspicious and his anger heightened.
"Do you mind telling me what's going on?" Zoe asked, she had been standing at the door and watching him turn down the whole room. Carter didn't respond, he just continued searching the room. His leg hit something on the floor and he stopped walking. He bent and pushed over the rug, it was a small lid.
"Did he dig a hole here?" Carter asked and bent down. The lid was locked. Zoe drew closer and bent down beside him.
"I can open this without a key, I learned that when I was twelve. All I need is a screwdriver," Zoe said. Carter raised his eyebrows, he stood and went to search for a screwdriver. He came back with two and she picked one and began to work on the padlock while Carter watched her.
