In the corridor,
Kritz had been feeling uncomfortable, waiting it out for his lord to return. His legs drummed on the floor and he repeatedly sighed to voice out his discomfort.
"Would you keep quiet for once?!" Gran complained, rolling his eyes.
"Say that one more time and you'd be licking the floor," Kritz warned with a low growl.
Clap!
Clap!
"I was gone in just a few minutes and you are already in an argument. Kritz, is that how I raised you?"
Kritz got to his feet and bowed, "most certainly not, my lord."
Gran stifled a laugh, glad that it had worked in his favor, only to get a backlash right after.
"Didn't I tell you that doing so with insects is not worth your standards or time?" Hisha stressed with a smile before looking Gran's way.
Gran's body stiffened at the comment and knew all too well the feeling of Kritz at that moment.
"My lord." All the guards chorused in unison after nodding their heads to Kritz.
