Karl gasped for air being drenched in water. He sat up with a sudden jolt and immediately regretted it after the extreme pain that erupted in his head. He looked around to find himself under a draped tent. A small handmade bed propped on one side and some utensils on the other.
Light filtered inside the room and he squinted at the extreme light blinking against it. His father walked in still in all his glory exactly as he remembered him. The first thing that came to his mind looking at his father was Arrogance.
Karl sat in his place he felt around for his weapon and he wasn't surprised to find out that they were missing. He didn't move, waiting for his father to say something as prowled around him like a predator assessing his prey from all sides.
"You have grown up" HE commented his voice rough.
