Audra fell to the green grass-laden ground trying to get her breath back, it felt like she had just run from that world to this. Though she had just entered and exited that portal. A loud crash sounded behind her and she saw the black gate that had just thrown them out turn into solid glass and break into pieces blasting around in millions. Audra shielded herself from it and turned to Vanessa who looked more terrible than this. The portal had sucked their energy too. The portals were breaking and no one would be able to exit anymore. Vanessa threw up blood on the grass, her cloak falling off her from the wind and Audra saw the marks of nails on her arms. These were marks from the dragon beasts.
"What happened to you?" Audra finally asked.
"They had dragons guarding the portals, I had to get you back" she confessed coughing out loud.
