Ian helped Karl sit up straighter, giving him water as he slurped on it and everyone silently observed him waiting for them to say something. Utter any words. But suddenly he looked fresh as if none of it had happened.
"What happened to you all?" he asked them looking down at their faces.
"How are you feeling?" asked Marcello.
"To be fairly honest I feel nothing" He looked at their faces one by one. He raised the side of his shirt and a fading white scar remained where he was stabbed nothing else remained. "Whatever it is you all did it worked" HE had no idea what went down during his unconsciousness.
Audra stood up taller from leaning against the door. Her hand playing with the white cloth wrapped around it. "Do you remember what really happened before you were stabbed?" she asked directly.
"I came looking for you," Karl started.
"How did you know I was in the royal wing?" Audra countered.
