If it wasn't for Nicole standing in Ian's way and Marcello's hand on his shoulder Ian would have torn Carter apart to shreds, no matter he regrets later but the anger that bubbled inside him drove him mad. Mad enough to not even care about the person standing in front of him. Karl was the only close family left and he had sworn to protect his brother from all that he could.
They had landed in the middle of the ground far away from the actual border of the earth kingdom. They weren't sure if Carter really knew the boundaries and they didn't want to risk it. The tension remained thick in the air as Carter smirked down at his eldest son. As if he had walked right into his father's trap whatever it was. Something was clearly off they all knew. It was painfully obvious.
Ian had lost his patience as he stepped away from Marcello's hold thrashing towards his father.
