Water was splashed onto Nicole's face causing him to gasp loudly for air and blink trying to remove the blurriness from his eyes. His headache, feeling heavy. He could vaguely make out shapes of some people standing in front of him upside down and some flickers of fire in the back. Slowly gradually every part of his body began to complain in pain. HE was suddenly aware of every sting and every itch on his body.
When finally, his vision cleared a man in his early fifties stood in front of him smirking with pride. It didn't even take Nicole a second more to realize who that man was. IT was Lucio's father. The infamous rebel of the fire kingdom. Nicole looked down at himself and he was hung from a pole tied in a million ropes. The place was a small clearing at the top of the hill where tents were set and many fire people sat around the fire dancing in the depths of the night.
"We meet again," Lucio's father, Sebastian, said.
