A wave of dizziness hit Audra and she fell on Nicole, her head hitting his chest he froze in his place. "I want to hate you so much but I can't" her voice came out muffled. Nicole's heart drummed against his chest and he held his breath.
"Audra what did you eat?" HE asked again, placing a cautious hand on her shoulders. She extended her arm towards the food table, not lifting up her chest. "The yellow fruit," she mumbled.
Nicole cursed under his breath before bending down and in a swift moment he had Audra in his arms, unconscious. His eyes roamed to the dais and he sighed in relief noticing the queen was absent. Her head lulled against his shoulder as he took her into the corridor away from the ballroom.
"You are going to be the death of me" He placed her down by the wall in a sitting position. Her words rang into his mind as he stared at her. He heard footsteps behind her and he stood up distancing.
"What happened?" Vanessa questioned.
