Audra's next destination was the room on the right. Her hand reached the door to knock she took in a breath hesitant to do this. She heard footsteps she looked beside her to see Karl moving towards his room. A defeated look in his eyes. He looked up at her and without even saying a word he moved past her into his room on the other side of Lucio's room. Before she even had the chance to knock the door the door opened startling her and Ian stood there leaning against the door a questioning look in his eyes.
She opened her mouth to speak and then closed it again. When she said nothing he spoke "be quick whatever it is or next thing I know I'll be accused of kidnapping her highness"
That stung.
His sarcasm, laced every word of his. She had to stop the urge of rolling her eyes at him. "Can I come in?" She kept her words as polite as possible. His eyebrows raised in suspicion.
