Lolly only stared at him and when she saw how disturbed he looked, she offered, "Fine I will go and explain but trust me it would be better if you did that."
Alan watched her as she left back into Eleanor's room. He was exhausted from the previous activities with his mate but he hoped Lolly would make the situation better. He hoped she would.
When Lolly turned the doorknob, it was locked, so she cursed under her breath. She was not ready for this, especially not after she had just gotten back from a run.
So with a little more strength, she forcefully turned the knob, unlocking and breaking the lock. Eleanor was pretending to be asleep as she squeezed her eyes painfully.
