"Beth, you have to calm down and be reasonable!" Aaron said to her but it was pointless. She wasn't listening to him
"What did you do?" She screamed at him and her eyes glowed
Someone dragged her by the air and flung her to the other side of the living room. She extended her hand to Aaron and he took it. She pulled him up
"What are you doing?" He asked her
"I would keep Beth distracted. You get that barrier spell up and running"
Karen said
"You are no match for Beth!" He said
"Let me worry about that. She trained me. I might not beat her at her own game but I would definitely do some damage and buy you some time" she said
"Take this!" He said as he handed her a totem
"What is used for?" She asked him
"It has magic. If you're going to fight against whatever tht is, you should have an advantage" he said to her, looking at Beth
"Thanks" Karen said as she put it in her neck
