Yale went back up to his room to think about what Hardin and his aunt had just said. He didn't know what to believe. He laid beside Beth and watched her sleep. He couldn't even sleep. He kept tossing and turning till he woke her up
"Hey, are you okay?" She asked
"Yeah, I am. I'm sorry for waking you up. I didn't mean to"
"I know, it's fine really. Want to talk about what's wrong?"
"Babe, nothing is"
"Then why are you awake?"
"I'm just thinking about a lot of things. It's keeping me up"
