He went to look for his mother and they got in the first train headed in Dan's direction. They could not find any trace of him or Brie. Carl couldn't believe that his sister was gone. He hated to admit it but Beth was right. She should have killed Cyrus when she had the chance to. If he was dead, none of this would have happened. His sister would still be alive and maybe safe but now, they couldn't find any of them. They couldn't find Dan or Brie or whatever was left of them.
He found his mother and they went to the house. They tried to track their scents but it led them back to one place, the house. It was impossible to find them. Emily's phone rang. She picked it up and out it on speaker
"What the hell do you want from me?" she screamed
"A plane in two hours. Stop trying to look for your family. It is pointless. They are cloaked with magic and it is impossible find them"
