It was the embarrassment that almost finished her.

"You look so nervous," he asked roughly.
His eyes were still on road, he made a tangled sound down his throat, it was demeaning, but he knew exactly how to make it right.
Being rude was just an attitude he adopted along the line, he was still scared of being a bully, it can't get any better now with him being alongside her.
"I am nervous. I don't know you, and I shouldn't be letting you take me to any dinner," the young lady said.
He chuckled. She frowned.
She didn't know why the man did that but she was being candid when she said she was nervous.
The drive was a short one, they were at a small eatery and it was insane to think about it.
