After eating, Brian begged Jody to have a private conversation with her. Loel agreed, but he told them not to go too far. Brian drew Jody toward his car.
"Where are we going?" Brian gave Jody a big grin. Brian gave Jody a paper bag and said, "Here's to you."
Jody grabbed the paper bag and looked at it right away. When she saw what was inside, she wrinkled her brow. The dress is red.
"Wow, how did you know the red dress is my favorite?"
Brian just smiled and shrugged. "Wear that once the holiday is over."
"What? Will I go to school wearing this? "Jody said, laughing.
"Why not? You look good in everything you wear," said Brian.
"Do you want me to be the trend in 2023? "Jody giggled.
Brian laughed. "There will be a New Year's ball in Rivendell after the holiday. Brian said, "I know I won't be your date, but I hope you'll let me wear that."
"Okay," Jody said, smiling. "This is what I'll wear when that time comes."
