The next morning, I woke up tired. It was a Saturday morning. I did the normal morning routine and headed downstairs. I looked in the kitchen, Kate's mum is a goddess! The kitchen was sparkling. Kate's mum had cleaned the whole place up. She was also preparing breakfast,
"Kate, you're up, beautiful. Since you're not going to work today, you can spend time with your daughter." Kate's mum said delightedly. She was right, I haven't been spending time with Ad, it was always work every day on day.
"You could take her on a little mother-daughter bond walk, don't you think?" Kate's mum suggested.
"You can take her to the park. Plus, Sadie could tag along as well. Ad likes her." Kate's mum added.
"Great idea mum, I just hope she understands that I'm really busy," I said trying to convince Kate's mum why I haven't been spending time with Adelaide.
