Episode 1 Part 3
The Faithful Encounter book let out a golden shine.
If you have a Divine Power, this aura wouldn't be unfamiliar to you. It's called Divine Aura, and you can see it in items, people, or basically anything that's associated with a god.
Caspian was chosen to save the Kingdom. Out of all the people, the dumb and useless Prince was chosen by God.
Why? He didn't know. All he concluded was he was chosen by God. No one knew if he was delusional or smart, but he decided to choose the latter.
'The Emerence Kingdom will fall two years from now all because of one man.'
The hooded man.
'I don't know anything about the man that betrayed Azriel. I don't even know anyone who will betray that man.' Caspian sighed. 'Where will I begin? God didn't give me a single clue. How will I do this?'
"Your Highness, may I ask a question?" Caspian almost forgot he was with someone. He tilted his head as a sign 'I'm listening'.
"If we leave, who will manage the house? Someone might steal if no one maintained the residence."
Caspian raised my gaze to Eliana's eyes.
"Eliana, there is no 'riches' in this house. What would they steal? The plants?"
There was indeed nothing to steal since there was no wealth in this house in the first place. If they're interested in stealing books, there's a library in this house.
This residence has a budget, but no wealth.
"Ahh..." Eliana felt dumb for asking. It was a bit ironic feeling dumb because of the Prince.
"Also Your Highness, I have a request to make."
'Now, that's a rare one.'
Caspian placed the file on the table before focusing his attention on Eliana and her words. It's because this personal maid of his rarely requests something. The last time she requested something was a help for her family.
That was years ago.
That day, she was down on her knees.
Eliana Lister was someone who stayed with him ever since the day he took a step into this house. She was the only one genuine with her actions.
Eliana is one of the most important people in his life.
"What is it?"
"Please let me pick your outfit for the party."
'Oh.'
It wasn't something serious. 'I don't know whether I should be relieved or embarrassed.'
Caspian knew the reason why she wanted to pick hisclothes for the ball.
'My fashion sense is.... A bit lacking.'
His fashion sense is; The first clothes his sees on his cabinet, that's what he will wear for today.
'Anything humane can be worn, and I usually wear my tops tucking them in my pants.'
Caspian's fashion sense was too basic.
"Ahem." He faked a cough. "Fine, pick my clothes. Just make sure it's eye-catching, alright? I will trust my appearance on you for the ball."
Eliana's face brightened.
"Yes, Your Highness! I will do my best."

One man had a mission of killing the dumb prince. At first, he didn't know why someone would want to bother themselves with the useless prince's blood. However, after some time, he decided to call it a blessing in disguise.
It was easy money.
So, he followed the procedure like how any assassin would do if they want to kill their target quietly. He snuck inside his room.
It was easy to monitor the prince. After a 24/7 lookout for the prince, he noticed one specific habit.
The dumb prince doesn't close his curtains.
The assassin didn't find his habit suspicious at all. He thought that maybe he always forgot to close his blinds, or he just wanted to enjoy the view any time. Ignorant of the dangers it will lead to.
After he monitored the prince, he went inside his room in the middle of the night without anyone noticing anything.
It was late at night, but unfortunately for him, the moon shone the brightest tonight.
It was a full moon.
Once he got inside, he noticed how the only light source in this room was the moonlight and the shining stars. He also noticed how he always closed the blinds to his bed.
'He closes the curtains for his bed, but doesn't close the curtains on his window.'
The assassin decided to ignore his sudden realization and walked closer to his bed without a sound in his footsteps. Because of the bright moonlight behind his back, he saw his shadow copy every movement he made in front of him.
The man didn't care whether the prince will see his figure or not because of the light.
What can he do?
The assassin got closer to the bed, steps light as a feather, to the point that he was a small step away.
He swung the curtains open, knife ready in hand to stop his target's life.
However, the bed was empty.
'He's gone? No, he just got up.'
Based on the crumbled and warm bed sheets, the prince shouldn't have gotten away. For sure, he was still in this room hiding somewhere.
'Where did he run to?'
The assassin turned around to check the room.
No.
He was about to turn around when suddenly, a bright thick string surrounded his neck. At the end of the string, he saw a man with lifeless eyes standing behind the moon. He held the end of the string with one hand, eyes cold as the night.
At this point, the assassin knew his fate.
He'll die at the hands of this dumb prince.
The man didn't know all strength left his body until the prince pulled the strings. Immediately, his knees met the ground with a small thud. Gaze at the ground, he saw the prince step closer.
Every second that passed, fear started to build in his stomach. 'What will happen? Am I going to die? I'm going to die, aren't I?' These thoughts kept circling his mind. As if a monster was eating his guts from the inside, the assassin felt sick.
And raising his head was a wrong decision.
"It looks like Eliot did his work properly."
The man didn't know what to say. It was like he went back to the time when he didn't know how to talk.
"Stay quiet, okay?" Because of the cold eyes which stared back at him, he felt a chill crawl on his skin, all the way to his spine. "I'll make it quick."
The prince took a step closer to him. He raised both of his hands and held his head.
The assassin wanted to scream NO. He wanted to scream in fear. He wanted to shout for help.
However, within a second, his neck snapped.
And just like that, the dumb prince just killed a man.

Eliana wasn't surprised to see a lifeless body inside the dumb prince's room. She was aware of the dangers the prince always faced. However, in the time this happened for the first time, Eliana was terrified and surprised to death.
The prince was still 17 at that time.
"Eliana, he tried to kill me." At that time, she can see how fear filled his eyes. "He tried to kill me while I was sleeping. I just defended myself!"
The young man was frightened.
Eliana thought the young prince was terrified because he killed a human like himself. She thought he was frightened by the fact that he is a 'murderer'.
Yes, the young prince was indeed frightened.
However, he was more frightened by one thought.
"Eliana, I will face more dangers like this in the future. Are you sure you want to stay with me? I will kill more people like him soon. I just want you to be aware."
Eliana was aware.
It was because of the 'fight for the throne'.
Eliana was also aware he just killed a person. But, the maid had already decided her mind after the help he received from the young prince.
"Your Highness, I promise to follow you anywhere."
"Promise?"
"Yes. I promise."
And from then and now, Eliana has always helped the prince with the dead bodies he 'defended' himself from. Although, all she did was clean up some mess here and there. Mostly by hiding the bodies where she was ordered to.
After the first time Eliana saw the prince with blood she didn't know whose, that was the last time she saw the prince bloodied. After that, the prince never made a mess.
Like how he killed tonight, everything was clean. There were no signs of struggle or a fight to death.
Back to the present, Eliana asked what she usually asked in this situation.
"Your Highness, what should I do with the body?"
"Burry it in our backyard like you always do."
It was a quiet night.

"What is Prince Caspian doing?"
"He's praying in front of a grave."
The servants in the garden were chatting about the useless prince as usual. He was inside a section in the garden he personally requested to be made after his pet died in the past. However, no one knew where he kept his pets, and no one knew the reason why they were so many graves inside that room.
Just, how many pets did he have?
"Whose grave?"
"I don't know. It must be one of his pets that died because of his carelessness."
"Maybe he's not dumb, but crazy."
They all laughed at one servant's joke.
Moving inside the place the prince was in...
"Rest in peace."
The number of the graves was in perfect order.
