Chapter 6 - STOP IT, ARVITA! ENOUGH!

"Fadli? Eee, what's wrong?" Mira stuttered, and without even realizing she began to straighten her hair which was already very neat.

"Guys... I'm sorry. I hope I didn't bother you two," Said Fadli.

He is a popular student with basketball skills that captivated all girls in the school.

"It's okay," Mira said out loud, making Arvita a little amused and surprised to see her friend's overreaction.

Fadli held the hump of his neck, and from the look on his face, he looked embarrassed to say something.

Arvita realizes that she is just a mosquito between two people who are in love - she thought. She immediately got up from her chair and started carrying her tray.

"It seems I'm moving out for a while. You two can talk without me," Arvita said.

Mira smiled broadly, and in her heart, she agreed with her friend's decision. Mira never imagined that she could be alone with Fadli. The guy she's been in love with for a long time.

"Wait, Arvita!!" Fadli said suddenly.

Mira and Arvita immediately looked at Fadli in confusion.

"I want to talk to you. Do you have time? Only for a while, please?" Fadli asked, looking embarrassed.

"Talking with me? But, but... don't you want to talk to Mira?" Arvita asked back, a piece of chicken still stuck to her mouth. The question seems like it's floating in the air.

"Mira? Huh...? No, I want to talk to you. Come on. Arvita. I beg you, just for a moment," Fadli showed his sad face.

Arvita and Fadli are already behind the school. The room is no longer in use and was once used as a laboratory.

Some unused school equipment looks a lot and is just neglected. The room is the right place for Fadli to be able to talk more intimately with Arvita.

"So?? What do you want to talk to me about? And why Mira can't come with us?" asked Arvita, and she was not comfortable with her current situation because there were only him and Fadli in the room.

"Arvita? I... I want to say If all this time I had feelings for you. The attention you gave all this time..."

"Wait..! What?? Attention?? Oh my... All this time, you misunderstood," Arvita recalled that it was Mira who did not dare and asked her to send goods to Fadil.

"Fadli, you know all along, I'm just a courier!! An intermediary!! So far, I've only conveyed what Mira has prepared for you. From goods, food is all from Mira!! And you know that, right?" Arvita tried to explain.

"Yes, I know. But I don't have any feelings for Mira. Even if Mira gave all the gifts, I still have no feelings for her because I've liked you since the tenth grade, Arvita." Fadli clarified and grabbed Vita's hand.

"Ohh, my?! No! This isn't true at all. Mira likes you, Fadli!" Arvita denied.

"And how about you, Arvita? You like me, right?!" Fadli still didn't let go of Vita's hand.

"Heh??? Why did you think that way, Fadli? I don't like you, and I hope you can choose Mira because she likes you," Arvita said and forcibly released Fadli's hand.

Arvita had already turned her body and wanted to run out of the room.

"Arvita!! Even if you reject me!! I also can't accept Mira. Because I don't love her either!!" Fadli shouted quite loudly.

Arvita had opened the lab door. She had just taken a few steps to get out. Until she realized and saw Mira was standing behind the room.

"Mira?"

That was the only word Arvita could say. She was confused about what to explain to her friend. Mira shouldn't have to follow the two of them.

Mira should also not need to hear Fadli's words and declarations of love to Arvita. Mira's eyes were already teary, her face was red, and her hands clenched into fists.

"Mir..? Mira...?" Arvita called hesitantly and very slowly.

Not long after, Fadli also came out of the room. He was as surprised as Vita, seeing Mira was already standing in front of the room.

For a moment, Mira looked at Fadli and Arvita. She looked full of hatred and anger. After that, Mira immediately ran away from the two of them.

Fadli pulled Arvita's hand as if to stop Arvita from chasing Mira.

"Arvita, just let her know. So you don't have to feel burdened or uncomfortable. You rejected my love because you felt sorry for Mira, right?"

"What the hell?! Are you insane, Fadli?!" Arvita said loudly and roughly released Fadli's grip.

Arvita immediately left Fadli and continued to chase after Mira was also running fast.

Arvita kept shouting her friend's name, but Mira had disappeared faster from the crowd of students.

Arvita continued to walk quickly to the front of her class, still looking for it. At the same time, the bell rang, signaling the end of the break.

Arvita turned around and hoped to intercept Mira, who might enter the classroom, stepping back until she accidentally bump into someone.

She felt herself being pushed hard by someone who had just collided with her. Arvita was knocked down and landed heavily on the floor of the school corridor.

Arvita groaned in pain from falling fast and hard enough and feeling her knee hurt from hitting the hard floor. With an injured knee, Arvita got up from her fall with difficulty while tidying up her school uniform.

"Hey..! You don't need to be pushed like that so many times!" She complained in annoyance.

Arvita realizes that she hit a boy and turned out to be the new kid in her class. Armand stared at her with a cold, flat, and strange look.

"Uhmm... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. Are you okay?" Arvita asked confusedly.

Wasn't she the one who fell and the victim?

Armand was silent and only gave a sharp look as if showing reluctance to reply to Arvita's question.

Armand just left without saying a word and entered the classroom.

"What?!"

Arvita just snorted in annoyance and tried not to care.

Mira was in her seat and still ignored Arvita, who tried to approach her.

"Mira, Listen to me. I can explain everything. I..."

"STOP IT, ARVITA!!! ENOUGH!!!"

Mira shouted, and immediately the whole class fell silent. The two of them became the center of attention.

"It's time for us to study, and I don't want to be disturbed anymore."

"Heh? Fine, Mir. I think you don't have to shout like that," Arvita answered slowly, and she became annoyed with her friend's behavior.

Arvita and Mira, even though they are at the same table. But that day, the two of them were mostly silent, with no greetings or jokes as usual.
