4 days later after house party
Chase woke up in mega good mood, because today was graduation day: the school was almost over and he'll celebrate it with his friends after ceremony in school. When he had a little rest after active night, he also found a good moment to earn some money for costume. Mrs.Walker told them, that homecoming dance will also arrive after graduation ceremony, so Chase made sure that he'll arrive in style. He bought a fancy costume with blue bow-tie and blue gloves, just for style. With good thoughts Chase took shower and made pancakes for breakfast, but something was bothering him, so he decided to message the gang.

Chase: Guys, when the graduation ceremony will start?
Natalia: 4:30 p.m!
Chase: Thanks. Kinda forgot. I was in thoughts to go to school actually LOL
Natalia: XD. Well cya!
Chase: Bye!

Chase sighed in relief: one problem less. As he finished breakfast while watching Netflix, a doorbell sounded, which made him confused, because he wasn't waiting for anyone. He went to the door to check on visitor and it was Skye. Being quite surprised, Chase still opened the door as Skye came in.
Chase: Hey there! Didn't expect to arrive that early.
Skye: Hey, listen, I need you to answer one question. It's really important.
Chase: Ehh, don't call me rude, but what was the matter not to call me?
Skye (giggles): I'm your girlfriend and I can ask you question in every manner.
Chase: (raises an eyebrow).
Skye: Just kidding. Anyway, will you be my... homecoming partner?
Chase: Sure!
Skye: Great. In case of question why I asked-
Chase: In school you need to find your partner. It's easy to guess.
Skye (giggles and smiles): And that's why I love you (hugs him). See ya at ceremony!
Chase: Bye!
Chase close the door after her and looked at new electronic clock which was showing: 10:48 a.m. He smiled and went to wash dishes, then he went to living room to watch TV.
6 hours later
Many students were sitting on chairs in school garden as principal Ryder was calling them to give graduation diploma. The gang also achieved their diplomas, but with special achievements in different categories: Lance, Kurt and Aaron achieved sport achievement, Miguel was successful in English, because he was barely understanding it at start of this year, Nigel and Natalia got success in biology, Diane and Skye were successful in math and Chase got the most special award: "The most successful underdog". As Chase was coming to take his diploma all students were cheering for them and luckily, bullies were still in prison. He arrived to principal Ryder, who gave him his award and shacked his hand.
Ryder: Well, you had mega messy start of year to yourself, had big problems no doubt, and now you're a popular school student and a teenager who has everything for good future life. Care to say something for everyone?
Chase (looks at students): Well, yeah, hehe! (takes a deep breath) A mega thank you, that you... despite humiliating me at start, heard my real reason of mine problems and really helped me. I also want to say thanks to Kurt, Natalia, Lance, Miguel, Aaron, Nigel, Diane and especially Skye! Without them, I'd never have all things which I have right now.
Everyone just clapped after this speech as Chase wen to his friends, who pulled him into big group hug. Then Mrs.Walker invited them to sport hall for homecoming party.
3 hours later
Everyone were having a good time and things to do: somebody were drinking something, others were dancing to good music and somebody were chatting about good memories through that year. The gang were also having a good time as they were talking about plans for tonight.
Lance: My parents allowed me to have some night surfing. Diane, wanna join me?
Diane: Sorry, Lance. I'll have a good dinner with parents due to my successes in math. Maybe we can surf tomorrow.
Lance: Oh, ok then!
Kurt: Me and Natalia will go to cinema on air.
Nigel: Cool. Can I come too. I have nothing to do this night.
Natalia: Sure! Why not?
Skye: I'll just have some good time with Chasey.
Miguel: Just don't turn this into "it" (smirks).
Kurt (eyes wide): Ohhhhhh!! Tracker finally said something mega-cool.
Lance: Yeah! Nice one dude!
Chase: Haha, nice amigo. But don't worry, we won't!
Suddenly a slow music has appeared and three couples went for slow dance. Boys of gang couldn't stare at Chases costume, especially at these blue gloves and during their dance, Skye was enjoying them on her hands. Kurt and Natalia wasn't wearing too fancy suits: Kurt was wearing a shirt and pants as Natalia was wearing meduim-sized dress, so were wearing Lance and Diane.
1 and a half hour later
Chase and Skye were walking across the street, holding hands and looking at moon. Everything around them was silent and the couple were just enjoying each other. During next 5 minutes of walk, Skye felt a little cold and Chase gave her a jacket, which made her confused.
Chase: Took in case if something like this with you'll happen.
Skye just kept walking, but leaned on Chases chest. A loving silence was still occupying them, until a big "screeech" sound made them stop. A car had suddenly stopped in front of them and Chase stood in front of Skye for defence.
?????: Chase? Is that *hick* you?
Chase: No... no no no no... not you!!
?????: Yeah *hick* that's us. Did you miss us son? *hick*
Skye: C-chase... are they?
Chase: Yes.
These two people who were seemingly drunk were Chases parents, who Chase didn't see for almost 8 years and wished he'd never see them.
Mr.Chase (drunk): Come on! *hick* Huuuug your deeaar faather!
Chase: No, go off! I didn't miss you!
Mrs.Chase (drunk): How *hick* do you dare to talk with father like this?
Chase: Because he's not my father and he's drunk again! I won't come back with you!!
Mr.Chase (drunk): You will, Chase Marks!!! No matter you want it or *hick* not!!!
Chase (angry): How did you even find me?!!
Mrs.Chase (drunk): We've heard your name in news.
Chase (angry): Finally, when I was at the edge of death, you realized that I wasn't with you!! 8 years!!
Mr.Chase (drunk): We also *hick* noticed that you have a really *hick* good house. We'll live with you!
Chase (angry): So you'll just do nothing and I'll work for you?!! Show off!!!
Mrs.Chase (drunk): But Chase! *hick* We didn't do nothing bad to you. Why are you *hick* talking to us like this? *hick*
Chase (angry): You didn't do nothing bad to me??!! Don't caring about me since when I turned 5 means to you "nothing bad"?!! I've made a big way through anxiety, throwing away a happy childhood, bullying!! (sobs) You didn't care about me, you were too drunk that you forgot mine name!!! You came here only to live by mine cash!! In fact, I was happy that I moved on from you!!
After that Chase ran away in tears leaving the trio in shock, Skye looked at Chases parents in disgust and took a phone.
Skye: I'm his girlfriend and he told me that you lied to social services. I'm calling police. By the way, he graduated from school and who knows, would he do that if he stayed with you? I guess not.
She called the police and ran after Chase.
