"I ordered five boxes of red velvet macaroons, please," said a blonde haired woman with bright red lipstick to me.
I nodded and typed the order on the computer. Paula--a friend of mine--reads the order. He immediately took five boxes of macaroon cakes.
"75 dollars, Miss."
The woman took out an atm card from her wallet. "I just saw you here." He gave me his silver colored atm card.
I smile. "Yeah, I'm new here."
"Oh I see."
Paula handed me two plastic packets filled with boxes and then she gave them to the blonde woman. After saying thank you, the woman left. Paula elbowed me in the stomach.
I turned around and said, "What are you doing?"
Paula brings her mouth to my ear. "He comes here often."
I furrowed my brows. "Why? Isn't that great?"
The ginger-red haired woman rolled her eyes in exasperation. "Don't you know? She's Gilbert's ex-girlfriend."
