There were so many things I wanna say, so many but the words just caught up in my throat. I was too focused on the blood stain on Dace to even think about anything else or consider my own sanity.

What have Dace been doing here for the past week that got him like this?
And why aren't the Rogues attacking us?
Dace closed the distance between and the next thing I was hauled on his shoulder like a bag, I yelped at the sudden course of Dace, why does he always do this?
"Dace!" I whined.
"I have to keep you close baby girl, the Rogues will need some time to get use to your scent" he mumbled as he marched in the dark like he owned the forest.
