"You're not saying anything" he finally broke the silence and I gulped.
"I-I don't know what to say" I conceded, which was nothing but the truth.
"Say you won't use magic again, promise me" he intoned.
"I can't promise that Dace, you and I both know that"
He sighed. "You're stubborn"
"No, I'm not!" I protested and then he threw his head backward, barking a hard laugh. Why does it sound so good?
"God I love your pouting face" he mused.
"I'm not pouting," I mumbled.
He gripped my waist hard, and it felt oddly good, it sent a strong feeling to my core. Fuck it I was getting active again.
