"Why do you always like dark colors?" I asked as Emilia painted my nails with her full concentration, it was odd seeing her this way, but sort of interesting too. She did it so perfectly that I couldn't help but admire her as she did. It was nice to see this girly side of her other than the gloomy person she was. It all falls down to not judging a book by its covers, her feminine side was really prominent if you looked deep.
"Because it's a badass color" she mused.
I snorted a laugh.
"And there… those nails look better now," she said admiring her handwork and it does look good on me. "And now for the other hand", she said, dipping more paint from the nail polish on the table.
"Um, Emilia" I began as a melancholy feeling got to me.
"Hmm?"
"It's been more than five days since..." I took a deep breath rubbing my lap. "...Dace left for his hunt"
"Uh-hmm"
"Emilia"
"I told you not to think about it too much"
