"You okay?" Dace asked the moment I walked up to him.
"Y-Yeah," I said faintly, leveling my gaze.
"I'm not convinced, baby" he was suddenly so close, earning a gasp from me, his movement was always swift "I don't appreciate…" his jaw tightened. "...us getting interrupted all the time"
I blushed deeply, remembering what happened. We were really set on doing that in the open, and I bit my lip just from the thought of it, making my cheeks even redder. He flicked my glasses bringing me back to earth.
"Are you sure you're up for dating a 150 guy, freckles?" he mused.
"I will…" I shrugged "...adjust"
"Although I don't feel old, I'm the same age as you"
"I still don't get the werelions counting when it comes to age"
"It's a long line, trust me" he mused. "Now… What should I do to put a smile on your face? I haven't seen that cute smile of yours in a while"
