I never thought I would get to see this… watching this unfold before my eyes. The burning of my dead kindred. My grip tightened on my arms. I kept folded against my chest and my mood foul. Watching the burning bodies from upstairs wasn't exactly something I would call a nice view. I spotted my brother, he stood calm. Both my dad and I knew that was just a facade. Because a shiver ran through me... their blood lust made the air heavy and difficult to breathe.
"Are they really here?" I asked my mom beside me watching the same scene.
"Seems like it"
I faced her and I saw her stern eyes watching the scene. It was hard seeing my mom showing no emotion but now she did. This hit all of us hard to the point we were alert of the foes now here.
