I rinsed my hands from the kitchen sink, watching Yass prepare some dish for me. A smile found its way to my lips as she fixed her attention on the pasta she was making. Most times, she acted like my mother, who made sure I'm okay. Meeting her and Joana was the best feeling I have experienced.
"Is he dumb or what?"
"Mm?" I arched a brow in question and leaned my back on the counter. Who was she referring to? "Who?"
"The man, who bought your house over?" I shrugged off. Figuring the words to reply to her message. I'm not surprised if he ignored her, I mean he does ignore me as well. "He walked in two minutes ago and I tried to start a conversation, I told him I heard a lot about him from you but just mumbled an mhm and left."
