"Hey," she greeted me when she stepped into the kitchen. I couldn't take off my mind the stunt she pulled on me today, what was she thinking? I told her I wasn't interested but she always had a way of interfering in my life. I ignored the anger seeping in me as I darted my mind back to what she did.
"I....ya...I saw some...ummm...ps remotes on the table, did you have Daniel over?"
I ignored her and continued the dishwashing.
"Hey, did something happen?" She came to stand beside me and even without looking at her, I could tell she had that questioning look in her eyes. "Did something go wrong between you and Kimberly?"
"What were you thinking?!" I snapped immediately which I regretted, a bit. She jerked a bit away from me with a startled look in her eyes. I wanted to ignore her until the anger in me wears off but her inquisitive self gets in the way.
"I don't understand. What did I do?"
