Chapter 1 - The Prophecy

(Mystic theme playing)

(The council of chiefs, trusted knights and nobles are gathered in the Castle hall of Barad-dur looking both curious and sullen)

Queen Altagracia: Sister Vilva! Are you certain that this is her fate?

Sister Vilva: I'm certain your majesty, nature have never deluded me. (Turns to the king) I have looked into it thrice Milord and it is certain that the unborn princess shall live in a world of danger. I have seen her to be courageous and salient, but most of her life will be spent outside this castle and it is not in our hands to stop her.

(Queen Altagracia turns away from the crowd, she places her hands on her grown stomach and tears threatens to fall from her eyes.

King Craig: There should be a way to stop this sister. Look into nature and have it tell you!

Sister Vilva: If there was a way your majesty I would have said it already.

Kind Craig: (Turns angrily at the sister) There must!!! everyone dismissed!

(The queen sobs softly)

Queen Altagracia: (Turns to the king) Does this mean we won't even relish our very first child?

King Craig: Gracia, change is perpetual, and I promise you, this must change!

Queen Altagracia: What if it doesn't...what if our daughter grow up to face battles that even we haven't thought of...(the king stares at the queen in deep thought)

Light fades...

(Servants are seen running to the Royal Chambers with blankets and ointments. Screams and whimpers are heard and the King is seen pacing unsteadily)

Midwife: The baby is almost here my Queen, just a few more pushes.

Queen Altagracia: No...( breathes heavily) I can't anymore...I can't.

Midwife: Pls my Queen, just one more push.

(Queen Altagracia screams in pain and pushes. After the last push the Queen gives up the ghost and her breathing seizes. The cry of a baby is heard and the midwife announces happily)

Midwife: It's a girl my Queen

...

(The other midwife checks on the Queen and announces her death with horror evident in her eyes)

Midwife: The queen is dead!

(The king hears the cry of a baby and happily enters the Chambers. He checks on his wife and gets no response, while the midwives look at themselves with pity in their eyes)

Midwife: Milord! th-the Queen is dead.

(The king stares at his dead wife with disbelief before shouting thunderously)

Noooooooo!!!!!!

(Thunder strikes...Sister Vilva stares out the window and smiles)

Sister Vilva: The gift of nature has been born.

Several years later...

(A very beautiful lady dressed in a Knight's attire is seen swinging her sword back and forth practicing with other knights)

Knight Gamiel: We're definitely going to get into trouble for this commander.

Knight Commander: What can I do, she's persistent.

(King Craig comes into the training ground hastily fuming with anger)

King Craig: Commander! you're sentenced to a two hours in prison. Laurel!

Princess Laurel: Yes Father!...I know you're going to say I've been grounded, but pls Father let the commander go 'else he won't let me on the training ground again. Pls Father.

King Craig: And that's exactly what I want Laurel.

(The king walks hastily into the castle and Laurel runs after him)

Princess Laurel: Father can I at least go for the combat tomorrow?

King Craig: (Turns to her angrily) Absolutely not! you...stubborn girl you do this and you still want to go into danger. Is it your intention to kill me this early?

Princess Laurel: (sighs) of course not Father, you know I'd never wish for that,(She urges her Father to stop walking, and he does) because you're my life Father.

King Craig: And you're my jewel, (caresses her cheek) but you won't succeed in persuading me.

Princess Laurel: (sighs) Well then I'll go for my plan b. ( She laughs and leaves the castle hastily while her Father calls after her)

King Craig: Laurel! Laurel! (turns to the guards) go after her and don't come back without her!

(The guards chases after her with but she escapes them with ease)

King Craig sighs and says 'The prophecy is coming true'
